Towards the end of the 2014 2020 programming period, the Cooperation Programme Greece Bulgaria is organising on Friday, the 20th of October 2023 , an event with the dual objective: (a) to honour and celebrate the Interreg Cooperation Day and (b) to highligh t the results of some projects funded in the period 2014 2020. More specific, this year, considering that the celebration of the Cooperation Day coincides with the end of the grape harvest season, we will visit the winery of Mr. Konstantinos Lalikos in Palaia Kavala, in Kavala Greece, and learn about the wine production. We will be informed about the local grape varieties that thrive in the cross border area of Greece Bulgaria as well as about the potential of the region in the development of wine tourism. All this will be done in cooperation with the beneficiaries participating in the projects LAKOSTO, DIONYSOS and VineSOS of the Cooperation Programme Interreg VA "Greece Bulgaria 2014 2020". The event will close with wine tasting.

On the occasion of the European Year Of Youth (2022), we want to put young people's projects in the spotlight. Therefore, Interact Programme together with 4 other programmes in Southeast Mediterranean (INTERREG Balkan-Mediterranean, IPA CBC “Greece – Republic of North Macedonia, CP Interreg Greece - Bulgaria and ENI CPC Black Sea Basin), are organising in Thessaloniki & Serres the "Interreg Youth Road Show", on 7 and 8 of November. A fine group of up to 30 people coming from the European Commission, as well as MEPs, are invited to visit some examples of Interreg projects that illustrate the kind of operations developed for young people in this area focusing on vocational training, employability, and entrepreneurship for young people. The agenda includes a variety of activities :

The IVY volunteers of the Interreg Greece-Bulgaria and Interreg Balkan-Mediterranean programmes are organizing a transnational environmental event under the name “Together We Can”. “Together We Can” is a Citizen’s Engagement Activity, aimed to promote the EU Cohesion Policy through three (3) transnational clean-up events that will take place in Greece, Bulgaria, and Albania with the participation of young people.
1) Greece: at the Summer Camps of Melissohori (location), on April 3rd, 2022 at 11AM.2) Bulgaria: at the Hunting Lodge Park (location), on April 6th, 2022 at 1PM.
3) Albania: at the Fusha Basketbolli dhe Park Lojrash (location), on April 9th, 2022 at 10AM.

Στο πλαίσιο του εορτασμού των 25 χρόνων του Οργανισμού «Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού» θα πραγματοποιηθεί εκδήλωση στον εκθεσιακό χώρο της ΗELEXPO στο Μαρούσι Αττικής , την Τετάρτη 23 Δεκεμβρίου 2020 και ώρα 16.00μμ, παρουσία του Υπ. Ανάπτυξης & Επενδύσεων κ. Άδωνη Γεωργιάδη και του Προέδρου του Συλλόγου του «Χαμόγελου του Παιδιού» κ. Κωνσταντίνου Γιαννόπουλου για την παρουσίαση των Κινητών Ιατρικών Μονάδων και τις εν γένει δράσεις του Οργανισμού πανελλαδικά. A post card exhibition, an educational entertainment “Treasure Hunt” game, a blood donation event and a blood donation volunteers’ torch race are the activities that will take place.
