Interreg Cooperation Day: The Greece Bulgaria Wine Road - Kavala Stop

Towards the end of the 2014 2020 programming period, the Cooperation Programme Greece Bulgaria is organising on Friday, the 20th of October 2023 , an event with the dual objective: (a) to honour and celebrate the Interreg Cooperation Day and (b) to highligh t the results of some projects funded in the period 2014 2020.

More specific, this year, considering that the celebration of the Cooperation Day coincides with the end of the grape harvest season, we will visit the winery of Mr. Konstantinos Lalikos in Palaia Kavala, in Kavala Greece, and learn about the wine production. We will be informed about the local grape varieties that thrive in the cross border area of Greece Bulgaria as well as about the potential of the region in the development of wine tourism.

All this will be done in cooperation with the beneficiaries participating in the projects LAKOSTO, DIONYSOS and VineSOS of the Cooperation Programme Interreg VA "Greece Bulgaria 2014 2020".

The event will close with wine tasting.
