Project eTOURIST: Final scientific conference, Closing event and Festival of "Traditional culinary and wines from Haskovo and Evros"

eTOURIST Partnership is inviting you to the closing events of the Project "Promotion and development of natural and cultural heritage of Bulgarian – Greek cross-border region through smart and digital tools - eTOURIST" of the CP INTERREG VA "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020".

The closing events: Final scientific conference, Closing event and Festival of "Traditional culinary and wines from Haskovo and Evros" will be held from 25th to 27th May, 2022 in Alexandroupolis, Greece.

80 representatives and stakeholders in the field of cultural and natural heritage, cuisine and tourism from the region of Haskovo and Evros are invited to the events - local producers, community centers, municipalities, museums, hoteliers, NGOs and other companies and organizations from the cross-border region.

The purpose of the events is to present:
- The results achieved by the eTOURIST project;
- The opportunities for trans border regions development in the tourism sector;
- Preservation of cultural and natural heritage and innovative ICT tools for digitizing and presenting the heritage of the regions of Haskovo and Evros,
-Traditional cuisine and wines of the regions of Haskovo, Bulgaria and Evros, Greece;
- New solutions in promoting the tourist region / destinations and attractions.

The events are an opportunity for the participants to disseminate good practices and exchange innovative approaches related to their everyday work.

As a result, we hope to find new opportunities for cooperation between the two regions for joint promotion of common products and services in the cross-border region, to create a common tourism product, which would increase tourism capacity.
