Project GoInt at the international specialized Vietnam Foodexpo exhibition

The Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) organize the participation for 7 SMEs in the international specialized Vietnam Foodexpo exhibition at 16-19/11/2022, at Ho Shi Minh city, Socialist Republic of Vietnam in relation to Go International (GoInt) project activities, implemented under the cross-border Cooperation Programme Interreg VA "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020”.
The Vietnam Foodexpo is the official and no.1 international food exhibition of Vietnam. Vietnam Foodexpo is an effective bridge to the future’s sustainable growth market for food trade and food production with variety of trade promotion events and conferences including business matching services tailor-made to each visitor’s requests.
Seven SMEs (5 Bulgarian and 2 Greek) from Bulgaria and Greece are taking part in a trade mission to this target market (Vietnam) of the project during the fair. Several B2B meetings and business matching are scheduled for all visiting SME’s during the Vietnam Foodexpo with the support of orgnaisers from Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE).
The activities for organization of the participation in a trade mission to this target market ( Vietnam) are funder under Work package 6 (WP6); Activities outside eligible area: “One missions in each target market (Israel and Vietnam)” and “Participation in one food fair “ of GoInt project key acitivities.
The BSMEPA is the lead beneficiary in the Go International (GoInt) project, implemented under the cross-border Cooperation Programme Interreg VA "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020”, in partnership with the German-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece.
The overall objective of the project GoInt is to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs of the agro-food sector.
Some of the main activities that are set to be implemented under the GoInt project are the organization and holding of information days, trainings, participation in two trade missions and a trade exhibition (under WP6. Activities outside eligible area: “One missions in each target market (Israel and Vietnam)” and “Participation in one food fair) with a sectoral focus "Agro-Food" for the SMEs from Bulgaria and Greece and, more specifically, companies involved with production, trade, distribution of agricultural and food products including: organic products, sunflower oil, traditional dairy products, traditional pasta products, natural juices, seeds, wine, nuts, gourmet products/condiments and confectionery, as well as the development of an information electronic platform to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Bulgaria and Greece to increase their awareness and capacity for business opportunities outside the local markets.
