Project "My Caves" at the 10th annual "Municipal EXPO" Exhibition

The project „My Caves“ (full title: „Modernization, promotion and exploitation of caves“) participated with its own stand at the 10th annual "Municipal EXPO" Exhibition (23-25 October in the Albena resort complex.). The exhibition was organized by the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria. In parallel with the exhibition was also held the largest forum of the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria - the annual meeting of local authorities in the country.



Within the exhibition area, the forum has established itself as a place for the promotion of modern technological solutions and equipment of a new generation, oriented to support specific municipal activities and services, and above all for the presentation of the achievements of the municipalities in various directions, including tourism and economic development.



The project was presented to more than 500 people - representatives of: Local authorities; Business organizations; Non-governmental organizations; and the general public.



Similar projects of other municipalities in Bulgaria were discussed, including the ways to popularize sites for alternative tourism of the type of caves (e.g. Dimovo Municipality for the Venetsa Cave; Varna Municipality for the Varna Golden Treasure and other sites), as well as potential future partnerships, including under the Program for cross-border cooperation between Greece and Bulgaria in the next program period.
