Participation of eOUTLAND Beneficiaries in the AIGIS2022 – 11th Cooperation Training Event
eOUTLAND Beneficiaries took part in the AIGIS2022 – 11th Cooperation Training Event in Thermi, Greece, organized by the Municipality of Thermi, the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, the Hellenic Federation of Civil Protection Volunteer Organizations and the Network for the operational Support and Education of the
volunteers’ Associations in the field of civil protection against natural disasters – NSEA (eOUTLAND’s Leader Beneficiary), with the support of Thermi and Mikra Civil Protection Volunteers.
The event lasted from 07.10.2022 to 09.10.2022, while the activities of Saturday 08.10 (all day) Sunday 09.10 (from 09.00 to 15.00) were addressed to the open public and took place in the premises of the Dam of Thermi, in the municipal area of Thermi and Thessaloniki, in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki of the Region of Central Macedonia.
During the AIGIS2022 Event, the public and members of Civil Protection had the chance to become aware of all the deliverables and actions completed in the framework of the project with the acronym „eOUTLAND“, financed under the Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020", with Subsidy Contract № В2.6d.06/02.10.2017.
The Training Event had registered more than 300 Civil Protection Volunteers from more than 20 different Civil Protection Volunteer Organizations. During the event, various drills of different content in different places around Thermi were conducted, including Search of Missing Person, Forest Fire, Car Accident, Building/School Evacuation, Victim Transport, First Aid etc., while everything was broadcasted live on mega screens in the Training Camp premises.
The eOUTLAND Beneficiaries representatives were in the AIGIS2022 Training Camp grounds to inform the public and the Civil Protection volunteers all through the weekend.
