Info Day for Logistics Stakeholders  

Project Agrofficiency

The Greek Association of Supply Chain Management, Project Beneficiary No 3 of the project  “Enhancing the Competitiveness and Sustainable Growth in the Agrofood sector through promotion of Circular Economy”, with acronym “AGROFFICIENCY“ and Subsidy Contract No.B6.3a.09/13.04.2021, of the Cooperation Programme INTERREG V - A "Greece - Bulgaria 2014 - 2020", successfully organized an Info Day for Logistics Stakeholders, on the 17^th of June 2022, in Thessaloniki.

The Info Day was moderated by Professor Dimitrios Vlachos, President of the Greek Association of Supply Chain Management, whereas logistics and agrofood stakeholders participated, either with physical presence or remotely.  

The Info Day aimed at the presentation of the opportunities of the project, its main targets, as well as its results, so far.  The results of the Study for the Circular Economy & Environmental impact were presented, from both Greek and Bulgarian side, and a detailed presentation was given of the E-Support Platform, its operation and the development of e-tools of which the logistics stakeholders will benefit. Through this platform, entrepreneurs will be able to find available funding resources in order to jumpstart investments in innovative ideas and trigger their business growth.

The Info Day proceeded with the submission of questions from the participants, regarding both the outputs of the studies, as well as tangible examples of the use of platform, which highlights the interest of the target group for the project and the results that Agrofficiency produces.
