Project "CULTURAL DEPOLE": Final Conference & Opening Event of the Contemporary Art Museum "Constantin Xenakis"

The Museum of Contemporary Art "Constantin Xenakis" Gallery in Serres was inaugurated on Saturday May 14 2022, with a brilliant ceremony by the Minister of Culture and Sports Ms. Lina Mendoni and in the presence of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Mr. Costas Karamanlis, the General Secretary of Contemporary Culture Ms. Eleni Doundoulaki, officials and a crowd of people.
The Gallery is housed in a listed building of the former Papaloukas camp, now the "Konstantinos Karamanlis" Culture Park, which was transformed into a modern museum space, almost energy independent and friendly to people with disabilities.
The Gallery was co-funded by the Coopeation Programme INTERREG V-A "Greece - Bulgaria 2014-2020" through the project "Creation of a cultural dipole in the cross-border area - Cultural Dipole" and by funds of the current Municipal Authority.
