Presentation of an Ampelographic book under the project “SOS for endangered traditional vine varieties”, in the Greek-Bulgarian cross-border region

    
On 13th and 14th May, three events were held in the Bulgarian cities of Haskovo, Svilengrad and Harmanli, regarding the presentation of an Ampelographic book under the project “SOS for endangered traditional vine varieties“, under the Cross-border Cooperation Programme  “INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020”.

In the events, from Bulgarian side, took part VineSOS project team leader and Secretary General in EAVW – Nina Filipova,  expert of the European legislation under the project and head of RMPP department in EAVW-Konstantin Draganov, project accountant and chief accountant in EAVW – Michaela Tolochik, employees from the representative territorial units of EAVW, and grape and wine producers from the region. The expert who developed and presented the information in the Ampelographic book is eng. Katya Yoncheva.

The published book contains an ampelographic description of the local endangered vine varieties identified in the project on the cross-border region of Greece-Bulgaria.
