Project "Social Plate": selected by the Project Bioregio (Interreg Europe) as the most successful good practice

The Project "Social Plate" (CP INTERREG VA "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020) has been selected by the project Bioregio (Interreg Europe), as the most successful good practice, for its efforts to reduce food loss through the recovery of food that is suitable for consumption and its offer to vulnerable social groups.
The Region of Central Macedonia, recognizing the efforts and the achievements of the Central Market of Thessaloniki (LB of the project "Social Plate"), proposed and presented to the project Bioregio - Interreg Europe (represented by 8 partners from 6 EU countries: Finland, Spain, Greece, Romania, Slovakia and France), the project "Social Plate", which is now included as a good practice on the INTERREG EUROPE platform (see here).
In addition, the consortium of the project Bioregio selected - through a voting procedure - the project "Social Plate" as the most successful of all the good practices collected by them, during the project's 6th Interregional Event that took place on 5-7 / 11/2019 in Nantes, France (see here).
