Project MEDICINET II: General Hospital of Komotini received the Gold Award at the Healthcare Business Awards 2019

The General Hospital of Komotini "Sismanogleio" (LB of the project MEDICINET II) received the Gold Award at the Healthcare Business Awards 2019 for the results of the project MEDICINET II, implemented under the CP INTERREG VA "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020". The ceremony took place on the 2nd of October 2019 in Athens. 
 

The General Hospital of Komotini received the Gold Distinction in the category Quality of Services under the pillar of Hospitals - Private Clinics - Diagnostic Centers, having implemented for the last 26 months targeted actions with tangible results, contributing substantially in the improvement of the health services provided in the cross-border area of ​​Greece and Bulgaria. In the framework of the project MEDICINET II, the hospital's main operating rooms were renovated and numerous educational activities were organised for the hospital's staff and the local population.
