Project "Destinations for all": Opening of the renovated minarel water springs in Ognyanovo, Municipality of Garmen

The mayor of Municipality of Garmen and the mayor of Ognyanovo village cut the band of the renovated mineral water springs in Ognyanovo during the official ceremony of one of the most significant sites in the municipality, co-financed under the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme INTERREG - V-A  "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020".

Residents and guests of the municipality have become involved in one of the most extensive renovations in recent years. The official ceremony was attended also by representatives of institutions, mayors from other settlements, representatives of the hotel’s owners in the region.

The renovation of mineral springs was long awaited by the citizens and quest of Municipality of Garmen because of the importance of the mineral water for tourism in municipality. The results of construction works are important not only for the people with disabilities whose access to mineral springs is main activity in the project with acronym “Destinations for all”, but also for all who want to use the healing virtues of the mineral water.

The renovated springs are a dream come true for several generation of residents of the municipality.
