The Second trainings on "Implementation of  European Union and World Good Practices" starts at the new Training Centre of Prosperity and Development Association for Bulgaria, Blagoevgrad. From October 14 until October 16, a joint Bulgarian-Greek group of experts in the wine sector and authorities will work on the problems of endangered local vine varieties, the global approaches to preserving them, the role of specialists and local administrations in achieving results in this field. The trainings will be held at the new high-tech training centre of Prosperity and Development for Bulgaria Association in Blagoevgrad.

The investment is under the VINESOS project for endangered traditional vine varieties under the CP Interreg V-A "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020" and includes modern furniture and multimedia equipment in three premises. The live streaming of the lectures will be available at 15:00 o’clock at YOUTUBE.COM. In order to access the channel, you have to search in YouTube PROSPERITY DEVELOPMENT. When it appears just click and follow the link.

The forthcoming trainings are a platform for scientific cooperation and partnership between representatives of the industry, local and national institutions and all interested parties in the cross-border region. For this reason, the group will be joint - Greek and Bulgarian participants: winemakers, NGOs, local and national authorities, local, regional and national authorities, representatives of local and national media.

The main purpose of the training is to present in Bulgaria good European and world practices in protecting endangered local vine varieties. Participants in the event will have the opportunity to work, share experiences and knowledge and develop their potential to protect and manage better the biodiversity in the region.
Equally useful will be contacts with colleagues from the wine industry and viticulture, as well as with institutions at local, regional and national level made during the training. This in turn can lead to future relationships and partnerships.

The lead partner is Executive Agency for Vine and Wine, working together with Association Prosperity and Development for Bulgaria, Exhibition Research Institute, Greece and Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki-Dpt. of Agricultural Technology, Greece.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the national funds of the countries in the CP Interreg V-A "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020" https://old-2014-2020.greece-bulgaria.eu/.
