Project PEIRA: Opening Conference

Kavala Development SA announces that on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. -at the GALAXY Hotel (Nestos Hall) in the city of Kavala- will take place the opening event of the Project "Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Rural Area of Kavala, Drama, Smolyan and Blagoevgrad - PEIRA" funded by the Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A "Greece - Bulgaria 2014-2020"

The project "Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Rural Area of Kavala, Drama, Smolyan and Blagoevgrad" and acronym "PEIRA" has been included in investment priority 3a: "Promoting entrepreneurship, in particular by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and fostering the creation of new firms, including through business incubators" (Promoting entrepreneurship, in particular through facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and promoting the creation of new firms, including through business incubators), in Axis 1: "A Competitive and Innovative Cross-Border Area" (Competitiveness and Innovation of the cross-border area) in the context of the 6th call of the European Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A GREECE - BULGARIA 2014-2020.

 
The general objective of the project is to strengthen new and existing entrepreneurship and innovation in the rural area of Kavala, Drama, Smolyan and Blagoevgrad, with incentives, training and providing the necessary tools to rural entrepreneurs. All actions are oriented towards the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation through the creation of four (4) business support units, which allow strengthening the capacity of rural residents and encourage them to take measures to develop micro-entrepreneurship as a first step.

The project will provide permanent business structures, able to strengthen the overall capacity of rural residents, in order to improve the entrepreneurship of small and medium enterprises that face problems such as difficulties in obtaining business finance, limited access of entrepreneurs to business support know-how, information and contacts , lack of support services to develop competitive product-services, lack of access / know-how on cost-saving technologies and insufficient skills.

The idea is to provide the right practical tools, train entrepreneurs and leverage the experience of partners in business support units that are useful to help promote cross-border entrepreneurship and innovation.

All entrepreneurs are expected to be part of a cross-border Business Network that responds to market needs and is able to develop cross-border supply chains with trade agreements between Greek and Bulgarian companies and use this to develop stronger trade ties and companies with greater potential . Finally, a very important goal of the PEIRA project is to use its results in upcoming policies and legislation.

Η Αναπτυξιακή Καβάλας Α.Ε. ανακοινώνει ότι την Τετάρτη 14 Δεκεμβρίου 2022 και ώρα 18.00 θα λάβει χώρα -στο Ξενοδοχείο GALAXY (Αίθουσα Νέστος) στην πόλη της Καβάλας- η εναρκτήρια εκδήλωση του Έργου «Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Rural Area of Kavala, Drama, Smolyan and Blagoevgrad» και ακρωνύμιο «PEIRA» του Προγράμματος Διασυνοριακής Συνεργασίας INTERREG V-A «GREECE - BULGARIA 2014-2020».
 
Το έργο «Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Rural Area of Kavala, Drama, Smolyan and Blagoevgrad» και ακρωνύμιο «PEIRA» έχει ενταχθεί στην επενδυτική προτεραιότητα 3a: «Promoting entrepreneurship, in particular by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and fostering the creation of new firms, including through business incubators» (Προώθηση της επιχειρηματικότητας, ιδίως μέσω της διευκόλυνσης της οικονομικής εκμετάλλευσης νέων ιδεών και της προώθησης της δημιουργίας νέων επιχειρήσεων, συμπεριλαμβανομένων μέσω επιχειρηματικών θερμοκοιτίδων), στον Άξονα 1: «A Competitive and Innovative Cross-Border Area» (Ανταγωνιστικότητα και Καινοτομία της διασυνοριακής περιοχής) στο πλαίσιο της 6ης πρόσκλησης του Προγράμματος Ευρωπαϊκής Συνεργασίας INTERREG V-A «ΕΛΛΑΔΑ - ΒΟΥΛΓΑΡΙΑ 2014-2020».
 
Ο γενικός στόχος του έργου είναι η ενίσχυση της νέας και της υπάρχουσας επιχειρηματικότητας και καινοτομίας στην αγροτική περιοχή της Καβάλας, της Δράμας, του Σμόλιαν και του Μπλαγκόεβγκραντ, με κίνητρα, την εκπαίδευση και την παροχή των απαραίτητων εργαλείων στους επιχειρηματίες της υπαίθρου. Όλες οι δράσεις προσανατολίζονται στην προώθηση της επιχειρηματικότητας και της καινοτομίας μέσω της δημιουργίας τεσσάρων (4) μονάδων επιχειρηματικής υποστήριξης, οι οποίες επιτρέπουν την ενίσχυση της ικανότητας των κατοίκων της υπαίθρου και τους ενθαρρύνουν να λάβουν μέτρα για την ανάπτυξη της μικρο-επιχειρηματικότητας ως πρώτο βήμα.

Το έργο θα προσφέρει μόνιμες επιχειρηματικές δομές, ικανές να ενισχύσουν τη συνολική ικανότητα των κατοίκων της υπαίθρου, προκειμένου να βελτιώσουν την επιχειρηματικότητα των μικρομεσαίων επιχειρήσεων που αντιμετωπίζουν προβλήματα όπως δυσκολίες στην απόκτηση επιχειρηματικής χρηματοδότησης, περιορισμένη πρόσβαση των επιχειρηματιών στην τεχνογνωσία υποστήριξης των επιχειρήσεων, πληροφορίες και επαφές, έλλειψη υπηρεσιών υποστήριξης για την ανάπτυξη ανταγωνιστικών προϊόντων-υπηρεσιών, έλλειψη πρόσβασης / τεχνογνωσίας σχετικά με τεχνολογίες εξοικονόμησης κόστους και ανεπαρκείς δεξιότητες. Η ιδέα είναι να παρέχονται τα κατάλληλα πρακτικά εργαλεία, να εκπαιδευτούν οι επιχειρηματίες και να αξιοποιηθεί η εμπειρία των εταίρων στις μονάδες υποστήριξης των επιχειρήσεων που είναι χρήσιμα για να συμβάλουν στην προώθηση της επιχειρηματικότητας και της καινοτομίας σε διασυνοριακό επίπεδο.

Αναμένεται ότι όλοι οι επιχειρηματίες θα είναι μέρος ενός διασυνοριακού Δικτύου Επιχειρήσεων που θα ανταποκρίνεται στις ανάγκες της αγοράς και είναι ικανό να αναπτύξει διασυνοριακές αλυσίδες εφοδιασμού με εμπορικές συμφωνίες μεταξύ ελληνικών και βουλγαρικών εταιρειών και να το χρησιμοποιήσει προκειμένου να αναπτύξει ισχυρότερους εμπορικούς δεσμούς και εταιρείες με μεγαλύτερες δυνατότητες. Τέλος, ένας πολύ σημαντικός στόχος του έργου PEIRA είναι η χρήση των αποτελεσμάτων του σε επερχόμενες πολιτικές και νομοθεσίες.
