Project "EnvironmentYou": Invitation to educational workshops

Youth Forum 21^st Century Association is pleased to invite you to participate in Educational Workshops on environemntal legislation and standards, green economy, green enterprenership and environmental management systems in agricultural enterprises. The worshops are implemented in the frame of the Project “Environmental management enchancement by youth-run SMES” (EnvironmentYou) of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A “Greece-Bulagria 2014-2020”.

The educational workshops are addressed to young people up to 35 years old and especially: young professionals of the agricultural sector; executives and staff occupied in the agricultural or other relevant sectors; and students from higher education institutions and vocational secondary schools.

The dates, venue and topics of the workshops are as following:

WORKSHOP 1
Date: 29 November 2021, 13:30 – 18:00 h
Venue: Smolyan, Hotel “Kiparis Alpha” (3A Bulgaria blvd.)
Topic: “Environmental legislation and Environmental management systems – challenges and opportunities for the Youth-run SMEs”
Lecturer: Mr.Ognyan Atanasov, National secretary “Health and Safety at workplace. Ecology” in the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria

WORKSHOP 2

Date: 30 November 2021, 9:30 – 13:30 h
Venue: Smolyan, Hotel “Kiparis Alpha” (3A Bulgaria blvd.)
Topic: “Green and circular economy, Eco-innovations and Green entrepreneurship”
Lecturer: Ms. Valentina Vasilyonova, Vice President of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions in Agriculture and President of Section “Agriculture” at the European Federation of Food, Agriculture, and Tourism Trade Unions

WORKSHOP 3
Date: 2 December 2021, 13:30 – 18:00 h
Venue: Bansko, Hotel Lucky Bansko
Topic: “Environmental legislation and Environmental management systems – challenges and opportunities for the Youth-run SMEs”

The worshops will be held in hybrid format with physical presence of a limited number of participants, following strictly all the COVID-19 safety protocols, as well as people participating and interacting online. Physical participation is possible only for participants with Covid-19 Green Sertificate. Participants who wish to take part in the networks remote will receive the link for participation by email after registration for the event.
