The project develops an innovative approach, based on international achievements and business trends, to provide a system that supports SMEs. The Agro-Tourism Business Academy develops: (a) vocational tutorials and video trainings for entrepreneurs and employees; (b) two experimental fields providing seedlings to agricultural producers; (c) a mobile App for alternative tourism, as a new a solution, mapping the targeted entrepreneurs, expanding the opportunity of regional product and services for market realization and boosting the alternative tourist visits; (d) a Web portal to provide digitalized materials and scientific know-how to facilitate the business administrative efforts of SMEs. The Academy will continue to provide consultations and training after the project ends.

The Agro Business Academy's scope is to allow wine producers to enter new markets, expand and increase their production capacity. Diversification of the entrepreneurs’ products and services will strengthen their competitiveness. Agro Business Academy also aims at: (a) adding additional economic value in terms of acquiring know-how, knowledge and new practices in wine production and tourism; (b) adding additional economic value to the land and increasing its cost; (c) increasing bio-wine tourism opportunities; (d) developping new business niche – bio and agro tourism, bio wine tourism and finally, (e) increasing skills and knowledge to the human capital in HORECA and tourism business.
