5th Monitoring Committee Meeting

The 5^th Monitoring Committee (MC) meeting of the Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A “Greece – Bulgaria 2014-2020” took place in Xanthi, on the 4^th of December 2018.
 

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Denitsa Nikolova - Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works of Bulgaria, Mr. Stathis Giannikidis - Deputy Minister of Economy and Development of Greece and Mr. Ivan Fecenko - Desk Officer from the European Commission - DG Regional and Urban Policy.
 

The major topic of discussion of the MC meeting was the approval of the 5^th Call for proposals that will be launched by the end of the year, under Priority Axis 01: “A Competitive and Entrepreneurship Promoting Cross-Border Area”. The new Call contributes to the Programme’s Specific Objective 02 “To improve SME capacity to expand beyond local markets”, which aims to stimulate enterprise growth of new and existing Cross Border area SMEs, through the expansion of economic activity to new markets and products.
